Well, it seems that I've been on hiatus from writing this blog (and the newspaper column that many of these entries appear in, as well).  But I thought I'd stop in and say "Hi."  So, hi.  There are lots of things on the table to write about, and you'll finally be seeing those in the upcoming weeks: fruit bats and delayed planes in the Seychelles; high schoolers on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland; improv poetry readings; rodeos, ren faires, and other things starting with the letter 'r'; and, well, there's been a lot going on this summer, and you'll soon be able to read about the humor, the pathos, the fun, the horror, and the enlightenment of it all.
